Asian Pacific American Heritage Month takes place every May in the United States. It is a time to honour the contributions, histories and cultural heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through festivals, educational programs, art exhibits, community gatherings and public performances.

Event Suggestions:
• Create a display highlighting Asian American and Pacific Islander histories and cultures
• Share stories, art, music or food traditions from AAPI communities
• Invite participants to research community leaders, artists or changemakers
