All Saints Day

All Saints’ Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day, is a Christian feast day honouring all saints, known and unknown. In the Roman Catholic Church, it is observed as a holy day of obligation in many places. The feast has been celebrated on different dates historically, but November 1 became widely associated with the observance after dedications made in Rome during the eighth century.
