World Day for African & Afro Descendant Culture

World Day for African and Afro Descendant Culture celebrates the diverse cultures, creativity, knowledge, and heritage of African peoples and Afro-descendant communities around the world. Established by UNESCO, the day recognises culture as a driver of dialogue, peace, and sustainable development. It encourages people to learn from and value the many languages, histories, arts, and traditions connected to Africa and the African diaspora.

Event Suggestions:

• Create a display highlighting cultural diversity across Africa and the diaspora
