World Cerebral Palsy Day

World Cerebral Palsy Day is a global celebration for people to come together, support those living with Cerebral Palsy and embrace diversity to help create a more accessible future for everyone. On this day, communities come together to request changes in local councils, events and occupations to create a more inclusive environment for those with Cerebral Palsy. This includes moving to implement wheelchair access in stores and workplaces and creating more inclusive festivals and events for sports and holidays, such as the Paralympics.

Event Suggestions:
• Create an accessibility and inclusion display about cerebral palsy
• Discuss how design choices can make communities more welcoming
• Share practical actions that support participation and dignity
