Tynwald Day is the Isle of Man’s National Day and is marked by ceremony and tradition dating back to the tenth century. It includes an outdoor sitting of Tynwald, the Manx Parliament, often described as one of the world’s oldest continuous parliaments. The day also features a market, fair, music and public celebration of Manx identity.
