Middle Child Day

Middle Child Day celebrates people who grew up between older and younger siblings. It is a light-hearted observance that recognises their place in family dynamics and encourages appreciation for middle children. Families may use the day to share appreciation, humour and attention for middle siblings who are sometimes overlooked.

Event suggestions:
• Creating community art around memory, identity, and participation
• Learning customs through welcoming group activities and guided conversation
• Hosting cultural circles that invite reflection, dialogue, and appreciation
