The King’s Birthday in Australia is observed on different dates depending on the state or territory. In most parts of Australia, it falls on the second Monday in June, while Western Australia observes it later in the year. The public holiday reflects Australia’s constitutional monarchy and Commonwealth history, and is often marked through community events, honours and a long weekend.
