12 April
Day of (No) Silence encourages people to speak out against discrimination affecting LGBTQ+ students and communities. Formerly known as Day of Silence, the observance has shifted from symbolic silence toward visible action, advocacy and support for rights, safety and belonging.
Event Suggestions:
• Create a pledge wall supporting respect, safety and belonging
• Share age-appropriate LGBTQ+ inclusion and allyship resources
• Discuss how using your voice can challenge discrimination
