Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is the day or evening before Christmas Day and is observed in many countries through religious, family, and community traditions. For some Christian communities, it includes church services, carols, nativity stories, and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. In many places, Christmas Eve is also associated with shared meals, gift-giving, decorations, and local customs that reflect family and cultural heritage.

Event Suggestions:
• Compare Christmas Eve traditions from different countries and communities
• Share carols, stories, foods, or decorations connected to Christmas Eve customs
• Create a reflection activity on family, generosity, and seasonal traditions
