World Interfaith Harmony Week begins

World Interfaith Harmony Week is a United Nations observance that encourages dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among people of different faiths and beliefs. Beginning in 2010, the week promotes common values such as peace, compassion, respect, and goodwill across religious and cultural communities. It offers an opportunity to build connection, reduce prejudice, and support peaceful coexistence through interfaith learning and collaboration.

Event Suggestions:
• Host an interfaith conversation focused on shared values, respect, and community peace
• Create a display introducing different faith traditions, symbols, and practices
• Organise a collaborative service or reflection activity that brings communities together
