The Day of Valor (Philippines)

The Day of Valor, or Araw ng Kagitingan, is a national observance in the Philippines honouring the Filipino and American soldiers who fought in the Battle of Bataan during World War II. It remembers courage, sacrifice and the suffering of prisoners during the Bataan Death March, while encouraging reflection on peace and resilience.
