World Day of Peace

World Day of Peace is a time for reflection on peace, reconciliation and the shared responsibility of building more just and compassionate communities. Observed in many faith and civic settings, it calls on people to reject violence, strengthen dialogue and support those affected by conflict. The day encourages individuals, schools and communities to explore practical ways to promote peace in everyday life.

Event Suggestions:
• Creating a peace wall with messages of hope and reconciliation in multiple languages
• Hosting an interfaith or intercultural dialogue on peacebuilding, conflict resolution and mutual understanding
• Sharing music, readings and stories that inspire nonviolence, compassion and community healing
