Arrival of Indentured Labourers commemorates the arrival of indentured workers whose labour and descendants shaped the culture, economy and identity of Mauritius and other former colonies. It honours resilience, migration history and multicultural heritage. Commemorations often include ceremonies, storytelling and education about the lasting legacies of indenture and diaspora communities.
