Anant Chaturdashi is a Hindu and Jain observance held on the fourteenth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada. In many Hindu communities, it marks the final day of Ganesh Chaturthi and includes Ganesh Visarjan, the immersion of Ganesha images. Some devotees also worship Lord Vishnu in his Anant form and tie a sacred thread as part of the ritual.
Event Suggestions:
• Learning about Ganesh Visarjan and the symbolism of farewell and renewal
• Exploring the Anant thread, Vishnu traditions and devotional practice with respect
• Creating art or storytelling activities connected to Ganesha and festival rituals
