11 November

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is observed in Australia and many allied countries to honour those who have served and died in war and conflict. A minute of silence is commonly held at 11 am on 11 November, marking the armistice that ended fighting in World War I.

Event Suggestions:
• Hold a respectful reflection on remembrance, peace, and service
• Create a poppy or memorial display with messages of gratitude
• Explore poems, music, or stories connected to Remembrance Day traditions
