Keukenhof: Amsterdam’s Tulip & Flower Festival begins

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world’s largest tulip and flower festivals. Located in Lisse in the Netherlands, the gardens showcase millions of flower bulbs each spring and are closely associated with Dutch horticulture, seasonal beauty and the country’s famous tulip-growing traditions.

Event Suggestions:
• Explore Dutch tulip history, flower farming and seasonal festivals
• Create a floral art activity inspired by Keukenhof gardens
• Discuss how flowers and gardens can express culture, design and place
