The International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda is a solemn United Nations observance for remembrance, education and reflection. It honours the victims and survivors of the genocide and calls on communities to reject hatred, recognise warning signs of violence and support dignity, justice and reconciliation.
