Passover Jewish Holiday begins

Passover, also known as Pesach, is a significant Jewish holiday commemorating the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. During Passover, Jewish families and communities gather for a Seder meal, retell the story through the Haggadah and share symbolic foods such as matzah, bitter herbs and wine. The holiday centres on freedom, remembrance, faith and hope.

Event Suggestions:
• Learn about the Passover Seder and the meaning of symbolic foods
• Explore themes of freedom, memory and resilience in Jewish tradition
