Ridván is a twelve-day Bahá’í festival commemorating Bahá’u’lláh’s declaration of his mission in 1863. The twelfth day marks Bahá’u’lláh’s departure from the Garden of Ridván and is observed with prayer, readings, community gatherings and reflection on unity, peace and service.
